Advantages of buying a second-hand car:
When buying a used car you generally buy "more car" because for the cost of a lower range vehicle, you will be able to buy a higher range.
The higher-end vehicle, be it a BMW, a Mercedes, a Volkswagen, or any other car make, will be one, two or more years old and certainly have a few kilometres, but it will continue to be a higher-end vehicle, with the initial purchaser bearing a large part of the devaluation.
Furthermore, many of a car's problems occur in the first 10 or 1 thousand kilometres. Of course they are covered by the warranty but no one "pays" for the hassle and wasted time. A pre-owned car, with a clean history, can be considered a way to reduce this risk.
Advantages of imported cars/motorcycles:
On the other hand, buying in a larger market, or where the makes originate, such as German or French, where prices are lower and availability is greater, allows for a more comprehensive choice. Why choose between 2 or 3 cars or motorcycles (or another type of vehicle) in a smaller market when you can choose from hundreds of options?
Choose the car make, model, km, history, equipment, interior colour, seat fabric, exterior colour, wheels. Choose everything you're entitled to, almost as if you were choosing a new vehicle. After all, it's not every day that you buy a car or a motorcycle.
This does not mean that all imported cars or motorcycles are good. All markets have advantages and disadvantages. You can count on our experience in this analysis. If you are thinking about buying or changing a vehicle, talk to us!
